OUR STORY

Knightscope’s long-term mission is to make the United States of America the safest country in the world, changing everything for everyone. Imagine if that lofty goal could be met - the impact on housing prices, volatility of financial markets, insurance rates, property values, municipal budgets, viability of a local business and the safety of your family, friends and loved ones would be profound.

Crime has a $1+ trillion negative economic impact on the U.S. economy every year. There are 2+ million law enforcement and security professionals across the country that get up every morning willing take a bullet for each of us, yet the tools we have provided them to do their jobs effectively is beneath the dignity of our nation.

Founded in Silicon Valley on April 4, 2013, Knightscope is a leader in developing autonomous security capabilities with a vision to one day be able to predict and prevent crime disrupting the $500 billion security industry. The technology is a profound combination of self-driving technology, robotics and artificial intelligence.

We presently market a K1 stationary machine, K3 indoor machine and K5 outdoor machine.  The K7 multi-terrain four-wheel version is under development. The Knightscope solution to reduce crime combines the physical presence of our proprietary Autonomous Data Machines (“ADMs”) with real-time onsite data collection and analysis. Our machines autonomously patrol client sites without the need for remote control to provide a visible, force multiplying, physical security presence to help protect assets, monitor changes in the area and deter crime. The data is accessible through our Knightscope Security Operations Center (“KSOC”), an intuitive, browser-based interface that enables security professionals to review events generated from “really smart mobile eyes and ears” to do their jobs more effectively.

Knightscope has raised in excess of $40 million from four major corporations and over 5,500 family offices and retail investors since inception. The Company is in the process of raising $50M in growth capital as it considers a potential IPO in the next 12 - 24 months. Knightscope has reserved its ticker symbol “KSCP” on NASDAQ.
